After months of preparation the North American Grand Prix Tour kicked off this week in Calgary Canada at the Canada Olympic Park. It is the first of three stops on the tour. Tim placed sixth at the aerial event there. He is a bit disappointed but still very dedicated in his quest to be the best. On a positive note he competed a new trick (full-double full) last night and stuck the landing, after doing it for the first time just hours before. Second jump was another triple twisting double (double full-full) where Tim ran into a bit of trouble on the landing. Next week he will be in Mont Gabriel, Quebec where there are two NorAm competitions which will set him up for the Lake Placid World Cup the week after.

Tim will be competing on the Freestyle F.I.S. World Cup tour when it stops in the United States during the second half of January where he will try to qualify for the rest of the tour and travel to Canada, Japan, and Russia. The domestic World Cups kick off in Lake Placid on January 18-20 and resume in Deer Valley February 1-2. This week Tim heads to Canada to compete in the North American Grand Prix Tour which is at the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.

After a season off due to back problems and a summer full of training Tim is ready to take on the world once again. During the time off he went to Westminster College where he currently has a 3.62 g.p.a. and did an intensive rehab program to get his back working strong again. With that, he has been able to take his aerial skiing to new heights. This summer he finished strong working on another quad twisting triple back flip! For the upcoming season you will see him throwing triple twisting triples, and looking for some top five results on the Freestyle FIS World Cup.
